The Brothers Leon Haimović Company Filed a Lawsuit Against Petar Bajlović
The Belgrade Town Court communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the court decision reached in a lawsuit Kuča H. Koen, a representative of the Brothers Leon Haimović company, had filed against Petar Bajlović, over debt. The Administration was requested to collect a debt amount and a court fee from Bajlović.

The Quarantine in Aleksinac Informed on People Travelling to Belgrade
The Quarantine in Aleksinac communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the arrival of Mevra Halderov to Belgrade from Niš, his 20-day stay in Belgrade, at his brother Moša‘s house, for a trade business. The Quarantine also confirmed the arrival of Berha Josifov from Bucharest, who would be practicing a tailoring in Belgrade, likewise the arrival of Simon Ilić, a Jew from Constantinople, who was visiting his brother Mihel.
The Brothers Čelebonović Filed a Lawsuit Against Rufim Golemović
The Čačak County Court requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to collect the court fee from the brothers Čelebonović who had filed a lawsuit against Rufim Golemović, over debt.
The Administration of the Town of Belgrade communicated to the Aleksinac District Headquarters regarding the theft committed in the store of Isak Heskijan Albahari, a bedcover manufacturer. The Albahari‘s neighbor departed to Aleksinac immediately after the theft had happened, so he became the main suspect. The Headquarters was requested to check if the suspect appeared in that area and if he had the stolen items with him.
The Administration of the Town of Belgrade informed the district headquarters about the theft committed in a store of Isak Majer Pinkas, with a request to search for the thieves on their respective territories.
The Administration of the Town of Belgrade investigated the accusations against Todor Milovanović, a grocer, made by Mojsej Koen for insulting him in public and destroying his overcoat, and consequently the Administration sentenced Milovanović with 12 days of imprisonment i.e. 6 talers, and to pay for his destroyed overcoat.
Tax Collection from Bosnian Jews Living in Belgrade
At the request of Bosnian Wali, the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to collect taxes from the Jews who were Turkish subjects but were at that moment staying in Belgrade. From all the persons on the list, the Administration found only two Jews: Avram Judić and Isak Pardonić.

The Užice District Headquarters dispached to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade a debt amount collected from Tripko Sandić from Ivanjica, with a request to deliver it to Avram Koen.
The police investigated the jewellery theft that occurred to David Nisim‘s wife Bohora in their house. The Jewish maiden Sumha, a daughter of Jakov Lazarević, was the main suspect. She was acquitted from the guilt due to the lack of evidence.
Todor Filipović Filed a Lawsuit Against Moša Jakov
The Police inverstigated the accusation Todor Filipović, slippers manufacturer, had filed to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade against Moša Jakov for calling him a liar.
The Administration of the Town of Belgrade investigated and accordingly reached a decision regarding the money gambling of Izrajel David Adut and Solomon Štajner in the tavern of Jakov David Zaharije. All three of them were punished financially.
The Belgrade Town Court requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to collect court fee from Haim Kazas, for the lawsuit initiated against him by Petar Marković, representative of the brothers Mihailović.

The Jewish Community Paid Taxes For the Second Semester of 1855/1856
The Administration of the Town of Belgrade informed that Jozef Ruso had paid taxes on behalf of the Jewish Community for the second semester of the years 1855 and 1856.

Toma Stojanović Filed a Lawsuit Against Isak Pinkas Over Debt
Correspondence of the Belgrade Town Court and the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the lawsuit Toma Stojanović, a tailor, had filed against Isak Pinkas, a merchant, over debt. Due to the lack of means, the Administration collected the debt from Mišulan Koen, a guarantor of Isak Pinkas.

The Ministry of Finances and the Administration of the Town of Belgrade communicated regarding the taxes which the Jewish citizens hadn‘t paid. The Administration was instructed to collect the taxes from 156 persons and to inform the Ministrywhich persons could not pay taxes due to poverty or some other reasons.
The Jewish Community in Belgrade Collected the Taxes For 1855/1856
The Administration of the Town of Belgrade issued a certificate that the Jewish Community had paid taxes for the years 1855 and 1856. Tax amount, which had been collected from 176 persons, was delivered on behalf of the Community by Moša A. Ruso and Jakov Maer Koen.
The Jewish Community informed the Administration of the Town of Belgrade that several members of the Community had moved away from Belgrade and accordingly they paid their taxes in those towns to which they had moved. Jakov and his son moved to Kragujevac, Jakov Arueti to Požarevac and Moša Pesah to Smederevo. The Administration communicated the headquarters in Požarevac and Smederevo to confirm those statements.
Tax Collection from the Members of Jewish Community
The Jewish Community requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to provide tax-exempt status for certain members of the Community who weren‘t able to pay the taxes. The documentation included the letters of the Smederevo District Office and Kruševac District Office requesting to be informed whether Jakov Aroeti and Jakov Jozefović were paying taxes.
