Jahiel Ruso Got a Permission to Keep a Tavern

The Dorćol Precinct interrogated Jahiel Ruso for keeping a tavern without the relevant authority permission. Ruso submitted the request to grant him a permission. Accordingly, he had his tavern adapted in line with the bylaw related to taverns, thus the Ministry of the Interior gave Ruso a permission to keep a tavern.

Jakov Koen Refused to Recognise His Debt to the Jewish School Fund

The Administration of the Town of Belgrade requested the Šabac District Headquarters to collect from Jakov Koen 464 grosches a debt amounting to 464 groshes in favor of the Jewish School Fund. The Headquarters responded that it failed to collected the requested amount because Koen did not recognize the debt.

Jewish Hospital and Assistant Fund For Poor Citizens

The Ministry of the Interior communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the existing Jewish hospital. The Ministry informed that there was one general hospital in the Town where all citizens could be treated, and accordingly there existed only one medical fund from which the hospital was supported. The Jews additionally collected the money for supporting poor citizens in need for a medical treatments, thus, it was considered to be the assistance fund not medical.

Jakov Miler, the Austrain Fugitive, Requested a Serbian Passport

Jakov Miler, a tailor apprentice and a fugitive from Austria, requested the admission to Serbian citizenship and consequently a passport to go to Kragujevac to find a job. The Administration of the Town of Belgrade decided to grant his request.
