Jakov Čučin‘s Lawsuit for an Insult

Jakov Čučin filed a lawsuit to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade against Đorđe Ilijić for calling him "Čivutin" (a derogatory name for a Jew). After the interrogation, Ilijić was sentenced to 8 days of inprisonment and 20 strokes of physical punisment.

The Belgrade Town Court communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the lawsuit Juda Solomon Azrijel had filed against Rafailo Azrijel, over debt. Rajna, a maid in the household of Juda Azriel, was designated as a witness, but she first had to take an oath in the presence of a rabbi that she would tell the truth.

Jozef Elijas Fined For Opening a Store on Non-Working Day

The Administration of the Town of Belgrade investigated the accusations filed against Jozef Elijas, a tinsmith, to have opened his store on a non-working day. Elijas claimed that his apprentices Avram Alva and Avram Demajo opened the store without his knowledge. The Administration fined Elijas.

Jakov Solomon Filed a Complaint Against a Captain Cincarević

Jakov Solomon filed a complaint to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade against a captain Cincarević from Grocka, for his illegal actions when Solomon had applied for a permit to sell his merchandise in the Grocka Fair. Solomon requested his passport and merchandise to be returned to him. Attached to the file was a passport of Jakov Solomonović.
