Jože Ribnikar Filed a Lawsuit Against Henri Davičo

Henrih Davičo requested the Criminal Department of the Administration of the City of Belgrade to provide him the content of the receipt which the Commercial Court issued in 1931 regarding the amount deposited for the lawsuit Dr Jože Ribnikar had filed against him. The Administration couldn‘t provide such a document, since the lawsuit file was dispatched to the Belgrade County Court.

Josif Lević Fined For Advertising the Medicine in the Politika Newspaper

Josif Lević, the master of pharmacy, was interrogated upon the accusation of the Chambers of Pharmacists for the advertisement he had published in the "Politika" newspaper regarding the sale of the medicine Acetylpirine, due to the wrongly cited registration number under which the medicine was approved by the Ministry of Public Health. The Criminal Police Department of the Administration of the Town of Belgrade fined him.

Jakov Papo Arrested and Exiled From Novi Sad To Belgrade

Jakov Papo, convicted several times for thefts, was exiled from Novi Sad to Belgrade as his native town, and was escorted and handed over to the Belgrade Police. The Department of the Criminal Police of the Administration of the City of Belgrade sentenced him to 30-day of imprisonment and obliged him to find a job and get personal documents after the termination of the sentence.

Jewish Community Reported on Births and Deaths in the Community

The Jewish Religious School Community in Belgrade reported on the number of newborn and deceased persons in the period between 10th and 20th May (year unknown): Josif Mandil got a baby boy and Simon Binja Gedalja got a baby girl. Children of Josif Mandil, Jakov Cevi, Sara Alvo, Maks Flajšer and Avram Kalderon died.

Jakov Asael Fell From the Ladders and Got Injured

A commissioner of the River Police informed the Criminal Police Department of the Administration of the City of Belgrade that Jakov Asael, a decorator, was injured when he fell from the ladders while working at the Belgrade Fair. When interrogated in the hospital, Asael gave a statement that nobody was responsible for his fall except himself.

Jozef Goldberg Lajzer Sentenced For Wandering Around

Jozef Goldberg Lajzer, born in Poland, with residence in Novi Sad, was caught wandering around the town without proper identification documents and jobless. The Criminal Department of the Administration of the City of Belgrade sentenced him to 30- day of imprisonment, and afterwards to be delivered to the General Police Department since a warrant was issued for him earlier. Jozef‘s mother, Vilma Goldberg, informed the Administration of the City of Belgrade that her son was mentally ill and that the warrant was issued because she reported him missing. She requested the Department to substitute his prison sentence with fine sentence.
