Debt Collection Lawsuit Initiated Agaisnt Avram Jozef Konorta

The Administration of the Town of Belgrade, the State Funds Administration and the Ministry of Finances communicated regarding the collection of the debt from Avram Jozef Konorta, a debtor of the Fund for Widows. The authorities requested by mistake the money to be collected from Jozef Konortić. It was determined that Avram Jozef Konorta had died in Turkey. After his son refused to pay the debt, the house of Konorta in Belgrade was sold.

Debt Collection From Sara Adanja In Favor of Avram Benado

Sara, a wife of Elias Adanja, submitted for verification to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade a list of items she ceded to Avram Benado up to the settlement of her debt worth 300 grosches. Jahiel Ruso requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to issue him a copy of that list and ceding certificate. The request was rejected as illegitimate.

David Pinto Exempted From Tax Paying

The Ministry of Finances, upon the recommendation of the Administration of the Town of Belgrade, decided to free David Pinto from paying taxes. Pinto failed to pay his taxes since 1859, due to a lack of any resources, his disability to work and earn because of his illness, which he documented with a medical report.
