Births, Marriages and Deaths Certificates of the German and Spanish Jews

The Ministry of Education and Church Affairs requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to provide the births, marriages and deaths certificates from the rabbis of the Spanish and German Jews. The requested data could not be provided from the rabbi of the German Jews because he lived in Zemun and he used to come to Belgrade only when called by his believers.

Birth Certificate of Johanan Almuli Requested

The Šabac County Court requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to provide the data from the birth register for Johanan, the son of Josif Almuli. The Assembly of the Jewish Religious-School Community informed the Administration that birth registers were not kept and that the notes of the rabbi regarding the births were lost during the Belgrade bombardment in 1862.

Bohora Baruh Requested a Copy of the Bill of Exchange From Isak Avram

The Administration of the Town of Belgrade communicated to the Dorćol Precinct regarding the request of Bohora, the wife of Ižua Baruh, a messenger, to get a copy of the bill of exchange which guaranteed that Isak and Rakila Avram owed 36 groshes to her mother Zumbula Pijade. The original bill was destroyed in the fire which broke in the house of Zumbula in Požarevac.

Binja Ruso Filed a Lawsuit Against Bogosav Madžarević

Binja Ruso, a merchant, reported to the Town Court that his apprentice Bogosav Madžarević left his job without any reason. Madžarević was interrogated and afterwards sentenced with a three-day of imprisonment.
