Binja Ruso Sentenced to Ten Days of Imprisonment for Setting Fire

The Administration of the Town of Belgrade investigated the facts stated in the lawsuit filed against Binja Ruso, the bed-cover apprentice, that he set fire to the cotton stored in the workshop of his master Elijas Koen. The Belgrade Town Court reached the appropriate decision, since Ruso pleaded guilty, and sentenced him to ten days of imprisonment.

The Ministry of the Interior communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the complaint Bohor Konortić had filed against Požarevac District Headquarters over arresting him and escorting him to Belgrade. The Ministry conducted investigation and found out that Konortić intended to settle down in Požarevac, despite the Jews settling prohibition in Serbia.
