Apprentices in Jewish Stores

The Association of Merchants of Manufactured, Textile and Fashion Products requested the Chambers of Commerce to give them instructions on how to deal with the apprentices in Jewish stores whose apprenticeship was completed several days after 5 April 1941. The apprentices requested that their apprenticeship be considered completed, even though the companies where they were serving were not open after the specified date.

The Association of Merchants of Manufactured, Textile and Fashion Products filed a complaint to the Third Precinct of the Administration of the City of Belgrade against merchants Moša Sarfati, Moša Josifović and Miladin Vasić. They were accused of displaying their merchandise on the pavement in front of their shops, near Jovanova Street.
