A List of Passengers Compiled on 7th April 1904

The Dorćol Precinct compiled a list of passengers who arrived to Belgrade on 7th April 1904. Moric Bohurov and Prejado Demajo, painters from Bulgaria, and Jakov Avram from Turkey, stayed at the No. 6 Visokog Dečana Street. Sara Alkalaj stayed in the Solunska Street No. 1.

The City Precinct reported to the Administration of the City of Belgrade on events that occurred in the City: Anton Jeger, a painter, filed a lawsuit against Solomon Ruso, Josif Demajo, Maksim Kalef, Avram Arueti, Hajim Demajo, Samuilo Levi, Josif Melamed and Jakov Koen for inflicting minor bodily injuries. Avram Pinkas requested the Store Department of the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to grant him permission to open a factory for the records, record players and accessories for the players, called Balkan. The request was rejected because Pinkas was Iranian citizen, but after the complaint submitted to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry he was granted permission.

Aron Isak, an electrician, 19 years old, was interrogated in the premises of the Criminal Police Department of the Administration of the City of Belgrade after he was found wandering around the city, without accommodation, job and identification documents. The State Film Central Office submitted to the Administration of the City of Belgrade a complaint against Adam Vig, the owner of the cinema Uralija for not respecting the legal obligation to play a defined number of films of domestic production. The Criminal Police Department fined him with 300 dinars.
