Jahiel B. Ruso Requested the Prevention of Children To Swim in Danube

Jahiel B. Ruso, the president of the Assembly of the Jewish Religious-School Community, requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to appoint a number of constables on the Danube waterfront who would watch over the children and prevent them from swimming in the water due to the very high waters.

Jahijel B. Ruso Filed a Lawsuit Against Juda J. Kojen Over Debt

The Court in Valjevo communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the lawsuit which Jahijel B. Ruso, from Belgrade, represented by Moša Solomonović, had filed against Juda J. Kojen, a merchant from Obrenovac, over debt. The Court in Valjevo requested the appointment of experts to determine determine if the signature on the bill of exchange was truly Kojen‘s.

Jakov Kazas Sentenced For Insulting Petar Dikić

The Administration of the Town of Belgrade sentenced Jakov Kazas with six days of imprisonment for insulting Petar Dikić, the gendarme, by calling him a donkey and a drunkard. Kazas appealed against that sentence to the Ministry of the Interior, which rejected it.

Jakov Levenzon Bankrupted

The Ministry of the Foreign Affairs requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to deliver to Jakov Levenzon the decisions of the Austrian authorities dispatched via the Austrian-Hungarian Consulate. Levenzon refused to take over those decisions stating that the bankruptcy procedure was initiated for his property.

List of soldiers who missed to report for the military exercise. Jahijel Juda Levi and Isak Albahari were among the others on the list. The Administration of the Town of Belgrade failed to locate the address of Jahijel Juda Levi. Isak Albahari gave a statement when interrogated that he had to work, thus he missed the exercise.

The Ministry of the Interior requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to provide the documentation and report on the case of Jozef Kojen, accused for setting the fire, in order to review the complaint filed by Džoja, the widow of Azrijel Kojen, who asserted that her son Jozef was not released from prison, even though his guilt had not been proved.
