Josif Pardo Accused Mordohaj and Azriel Katarivas For Fraud

The Belgrade Town Court annulled the decision brought by the Administration of the Town of Belgrade by which Mordohaj and Azriel Katarivas were arrested for fraud upon the accusation made by Josif Pardo. The Court informed the Administration regarding the Court decision and ordered their release from the prison.

The Jewish Religious-School Community requested a deadline extension for accounting report submission to the Main Control. Jahiel B. Ruso, a representative of the Jewish Community, explained that the Community tutors were on journey or occupied by their merchant activities and requested the Main Control to extend the deadline until the end of the month. His request was granted.

Jews Could Not Be Left Out From the Lists Of Engaged Workers

The head of the 2nd City District responded to the Firefighting Command regarding its request to leave out Jaša G. Zumbulović, Isak Levi and Mordekaj Todelano from the list of workers (the name crossed), that no Jews could be left out from the lists of workers, except in the cases when irreplaceable in companies or factories, in line with the order of the German authorities.

Jews Forwarded to the Tašmajdan on 15th June 1941

The Second District of the Administration of the City of Belgrade reported to the Technical Directorate of the Belgrade Municipality on clearing the ruins, excavating the corpses and rehabilitating other consequences of the bombardment. The report highlighted the lack of work force, i.e. all the Jews who were forwarded on 15th June to the Commissariat to the Tašmajdan never returned to work.

Jews Engaged in Clearing Up the Topovske Šupe and the Marinkova Bara

The head of the 6th City District reported to the Technical Directorate of the Belgrade Municipality on activities accomplished on 28th May 1941. twenty nine Jews, eighteen detainees and fourteen volunteers were engaged in clearing up the areas in Topovske Šupe, Marinkova Bara, etc. In addition was the letter of the Department for Jews regarding the forwarding of Avram Alhalel and Natan Glik to Tašmajdan, dated 29th May 1941.
