Josif Kampus Applied For the Serbian Citizenship

The Ministry of the Foreign Affairs delivered to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade the request of Josif Kampus from Bucharest to get a Serbian citizenship. The Administration approved his application after the Assembly of the Jewish Religious-School Community had asserted that his father, Avram Kampus, was a Serbian subject.

Jakov Levenzon Requested the Permit To Run His Father‘s Businesses

Lazar Levenzon requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to let him run the money dealing store, in addition to his commercial firm. After Lazar died, his son Jakov Levenzon requested the Administration to let him proceed with managing both businesses of his late father, the money dealing store and the commercial firm.

The Ministry of Finances communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the appeal which Jakov and Moša Maclija had filed against the Belgrade Customs over the penalty fee collected from them for the imported scarves. The Administration was requested to form a commission which would assess if the scarves were made of cotton, as they claimed, or of silk as the Customs claimed.
