Jakov Elijas Asserted That He Settled His Debt To Jahijel Ruso

The Ministry of the Foreign Affairs requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to inform Jahijel Ruso that the police in Turn Severin failed to collect the debt amount from Jakov Elijas. Elijas asserted that he had settled his debt to Ruso and that he returned the overall merchandises to him.

The Ministry of Finances communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the appeal which Jakov and Moša Maclija had filed against the Belgrade Customs over the penalty fee collected from them for the imported scarves. The Administration was requested to form a commission which would assess if the scarves were made of cotton, as they claimed, or of silk as the Customs claimed.
