Gavrilo Benvenista Filed a Lawsuit Against Živko Tešić

The Ministry of Justice instructed the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to investigate if Gavrilo Benvenista, residing in Zemun, was a holder either of a Serbian or Austrian citizenship. The Information was needed for the purpose of a lawsuit Benvenista had filed against Živko Tešić from Ušće, legally represented by Dimitrije Stanimirović, who was executed in Timisoara.

Good Conduct Certificates Used For Openning Stores Outside Belgrade

Correspondence of the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Finance and the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the situations in which Jewish merchants used to submit the certificates for their correct conduct when wishing to open new stores outside Belgrade, as a proof that they had been dismissed from the register of the Belgrade citizens. The Administration requested the instructions how to deal in respective situations, prompted by the request of Moša Ozerović and Moreno Konortić regarding the verification of the certificate of good conduct they had given for Aron Koen.
