The Belgrade Town Court requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to locate Avram Jakovljevi, the tutor of the property of the late Jakov Kazan, and escort him to that Court for interrogation.
The Administration of the Town of Belgrade investigated accusations filed by Konorta Mataras against Jakov Kazes because he had been selling in Pančevo and Zemun jewelry of a wife of Moša Ruso. Many people suspected that he had obtained the jewelry illegally.
