Bankruptcy of Majir S. Albahari

The Commercial Court informed the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to have declared a bankruptcy of Majir S. Albahari, a merchant in the Telegrafska Street. The Administration was asked to inventory and evaluate the property of Albahari and to deliver it to Isak Medina for safe keeping.

The Court in Pirot requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to deliver four bills of exchange to Rufajlo Hajim who had demanded a ban to be placed on the property of Rufajilo and Leja Aronović. The Administration dispatched the bills to the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs, since Rufajlo Hajim moved to Zemun.

The Belgrade Town Court informed the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to have allowed a ban to be placed on the belongings of Bohora Kalmi, a widow of Isak Kalmi, over debt to Moša Elijas. The Administration was requested to inventory, evaluate and deliver them to Jahijel Ruso, a legal representative of Moša Elijas.

The Commander of the Ćuprija Military Command requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to hand over to Bokor and Josif Levi the amount they deposited for the participation in the public auction sale of guns, since the minister of war did not approve the sale and cancelled it.

Birth Certificate of Malvina Di Demajo

The Jewish Religious School Community issued a certificate that Malvina Di Demajo was born in Belgrade on 23rd August 1865, from the father David and the mother Estreja. The certificate was signed by Dr S. Bernfeld, a rabbi, by Jakov Isak Adanja, a rabbi of the old Synagogue, Sabitaj Koen, a guardian of the old Synagogue and a president of the Community, Jakov Alkalaj.
