The Executive Board of the 1st District People‘s Committee of the City of Belgrade appointed a lawyer Vojislav Lukić as a legal guardian of Jakov and Matilda Benvenisti, to represent them in a process of expropriation of their estate in Belgrade. Jakov and Matilda Benvenisti had emigrated to Israel.

Avram Elijas and Jakov Šalom Kalderon Gave a Statement on a House Sale

Avram Elijas and Jakov Šalom Kalderon gave a statement that in 1859 Jozef Eskija Levi had requested from them to write a deed for a house which he and Haim Avramović had earlier sold to Juda Arueti. Arueti intended to buy a house for his son in law Isak Jakov Mevorah, but later he had acquitted the purchase due to the lack of money.

Anton Jeger Filed a Lawsuit Against Some Persons For Bodily Injuries

The City Precinct reported to the Administration of the City of Belgrade on events that occurred in the City: Anton Jeger, a painter, filed a lawsuit against Solomon Ruso, Josif Demajo, Maksim Kalef, Avram Arueti, Hajim Demajo, Samuilo Levi, Josif Melamed and Jakov Koen for inflicting minor bodily injuries. The defendants were escorted to the court for sentence reading.
