The Smederevo District Headquarters requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to collect fees for visas validations from Sava Todorović, David Eskenazi and Jakov Ruso. They were residing in Smederevo for trade business, but they hadn‘t paid for fees for validating their passports, as required by law. Enclosed a passport of David Eskenazi.

Police Investigation and Trial For Theft

A police report of a theft that occurred in the Jevrejska Mala (Jewish quarter in Belgrade): Bohora, a wife of Haim Hananel, was standing in front of her house with Zumbula Pijade and Buka Baro, when someone stole from her head a fez decorated with coins and a silk scarf. Zumbula caught the thief, but he hit her and ran away. The file also comprised the information that Dimitrije Đorđević was sentenced to twenty years of imprisonment over criminal behavior and that the Prince pardoned him

Petar Nikolić Accused For Attempt to Steal a Turkey

Rafail Levi, a merchant, filed a lawsuit to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade against Petar Nikolić, an apprentice to Štajnlehner, for the attempt to steal a turkey. After the interrogation of the accused and the witnesses, the Administration sentenced Nikolić with three days of imprisonment.
