Juda Solomonović Died in Niš

The Court in Aleksinac requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to deliver subpoenas to Moša Kum Avramović, a merchant, and his assistant Juda Solomonović. The Administration informed the Court that Juda Solomonović had died in Niš.

Jakov Alkalaj Died of Poisoning

The Ministry of the Interior informed the Administration of the Town of Belgrade that the body of Jakov Alkalaj was examined by a commission, upon the request of local Jews, and determined that he had died from poisoning. The Administration was asked to collect the amount associated with the body examination from the local Jews.

Jahiel Ruso Interrogated Over Not Clearing the Customs Fees

Jahiel Ruso was interrogated in the premises of the Administration of the Town of Belgrade for the reasons of not appearing to the Belgrade Customs when summoned related to the custom fees he failed to pay for 1865. At the hearing, Ruso gave a statement that he was ill on that day and submitted a medical report as a proof.

Jahiel Ruso Got a Permission to Keep a Tavern

The Dorćol Precinct interrogated Jahiel Ruso for keeping a tavern without the relevant authority permission. Ruso submitted the request to grant him a permission. Accordingly, he had his tavern adapted in line with the bylaw related to taverns, thus the Ministry of the Interior gave Ruso a permission to keep a tavern.

Jošua Baruk complained to the Dorćol Precinct against Rista Živković to whom he had given several items for repairing, but never got them back. The investigation confirmed that Živković had sold those items to settle his debt and accordingly he was punished with 15 strokes and a compensate of12 grosches to Baruk.
