Josif Benvenista Accused Gaja Bajić For Stealing Trousers From His Store

Josif S. Benvenista, a petty dealer, gave a statement to the Terazije Precinct that he recognized the trousers which had been stolen from his store which Gaja Bajić was wearing. Bajić was interrogated and sentenced for theft and wandering around.

Jozef Goldberg Lajzer Sentenced For Wandering Around

Jozef Goldberg Lajzer, born in Poland, with residence in Novi Sad, was caught wandering around the town without proper identification documents and jobless. The Criminal Department of the Administration of the City of Belgrade sentenced him to 30- day of imprisonment, and afterwards to be delivered to the General Police Department since a warrant was issued for him earlier. Jozef‘s mother, Vilma Goldberg, informed the Administration of the City of Belgrade that her son was mentally ill and that the warrant was issued because she reported him missing. She requested the Department to substitute his prison sentence with fine sentence.

Josif Hajim and the Brothers Medina Registered Their Assistants

Josif Hajim and the brothers Medina, the merchants, were interrogated in the Terazije Precinct accused for not registering their assistants Isak Medina, Solomon Kojen, Jakov Levi, Benjamin Medina, Leon Mandil and Isak Bencion. It was found out that their assistants were registered in the Town Precinct.
