Jewish Community Reported on Newly Born and Diseased Members

The Jewish Religious School Community reported on the number of born and deceased members of the Community from 20th to 30th November 1887. Samuilo Elazar, Avram Demajo, Hajim Gabaj got sons, Avram Adanja, Manahem Amar got daughters and Majir Levi got twins. Josif, son of Leon Jakovljević died.

Jozef Elijas Fined For Opening a Store on Non-Working Day

The Administration of the Town of Belgrade investigated the accusations filed against Jozef Elijas, a tinsmith, to have opened his store on a non-working day. Elijas claimed that his apprentices Avram Alva and Avram Demajo opened the store without his knowledge. The Administration fined Elijas.

Jewish Community Reported on the Newborns

The Jewish Religious School Community reported to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade on the number of the newborns in the period between 20th and 28th February 1891. Juda Benado, Menahem Altarac and Moša Medina got baby girls, Avram Almuzlinus got a son and David Alkalaj got twins, a boy and a girl. .

Jews Engaged in Clearing Up the Topovske Šupe and the Marinkova Bara

The head of the 6th City District reported to the Technical Directorate of the Belgrade Municipality on activities accomplished on 28th May 1941. twenty nine Jews, eighteen detainees and fourteen volunteers were engaged in clearing up the areas in Topovske Šupe, Marinkova Bara, etc. In addition was the letter of the Department for Jews regarding the forwarding of Avram Alhalel and Natan Glik to Tašmajdan, dated 29th May 1941.

Jewish Community Reported on the Number of Births and Deaths

The Jewish Religious School Community reported to the the Administration of the Town of Belgrade on the number of births and deaths in the period 11th to 20th October 1889. Avram Anaf‘s baby boy was born. Rafailo, a son of Solomon Levi, a baby boy of Moša Beraha, Samuilo, a son of Rafailo Farhi and Avram Levi‘s baby girl died.

Jozef Farhi Filed a Lawsuit Against Avram Bencion Over Debt

The Belgrade Town Court requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to take oats from the appointed witnesses Jakov Anaf, Lezer Albahari, Jozef Adanja and Isak B. Avram, in the presence of a rabbi, that they would speak the truth in the lawsuit Jozef Farhi had filed against Avram Bencion, over debt.

Jozef Nisim Padro and Avram Elija to Take Oath

The Belgrade Town Court communicated the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the oaths which Jozef Nisim Padro and Avram Elija, had to take in front of a rabbi, according to Jewish laws. They were summoned to the Court as witnesses in a lawsuit of Ozer B. Avram against Isak Fermo, thus the oaths would guarantee that they would speak only truth.

Jewish Required For Manufacturing Boots and Uniforms For Officers

The head of the 6th City District informed the Department for Jews that among the Jewish workers were no boot makers nor tailors who would be engaged in manufacturing boots and uniforms for officers. He pointed out that they had Avram Elijas among the Jews but he was specialized in tailoring male suits.

Josif Kampus Applied for the Passport

The Ministry of the Foreign Affairs informed the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the application for Serbian passport submitted by Josif Avram Kampus from Romania. Josif, son of the late Avram Kampus from Belgrade, stated in his application that in 1864 he escaped to Romania without passport together with many other Serbian families.

Josif Kampus Applied For the Serbian Citizenship

The Ministry of the Foreign Affairs delivered to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade the request of Josif Kampus from Bucharest to get a Serbian citizenship. The Administration approved his application after the Assembly of the Jewish Religious-School Community had asserted that his father, Avram Kampus, was a Serbian subject.

Jewish Community Complained Against the Pork and Beef Butchery Shop

Samuel Koen, Haim Avramović Konfino and Avram Koen, members of the Jewish Community, filed a complaint to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade against the Dorćol Precinct, because Tasa Belopoljac, who joined that Precinct, allowed the local butcher shop to cut and sell pork meat. Belopoljac reported regarding this complaint and the Administration accordingly decided the pork shop to move to another location, after the expiry of the lease contract, but until then it was ordered to be careful that pork and beef meat did not mix.
