Avram Ruso Requested to Be Released From the Serbian Citizenship

The Ministry of the Interior rejected a request of Avram Ruso, who wished to be released from the Serbian citizenship, since he became a Turkish subject. The decision of the Ministry could not be delivered to him because Ruso departed to Vienna, according to the findings of the Administration of the Town of Belgrade.

Adanja Elijas Promised to Put in Order a Leased Tavern

Petar Popović testified on a conversation that took place in a tavern of Jahiel Ruso which was leased by Adanja Elijas. Popović claimed that Russo stated to have rented a tavern to Adanja for a six year period, that he would put the tavern in order and would make an outdoor guest area in its garden until May 1865.

The Administration of the Town of Belgrade executed a decision related to the leasing of a grocery shop, a tavern and a house, property of the late Avram Josif Ozer. The leasing auction was organized in the presence of the property tutors Jakov Suzin, Haim Ruso and Moša Čelebonović.

Đorđe Adamović filed a complaint to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade against Moša Albahari, a money dealer, over giving him fake money. Albahari gave a statement that he had received that money from Živko Karabiberović.

Avram Koen Complained Against the Dorćol Precinct

The Ministry of the Interior communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade regarding the complaint Avram M. Koen had filed against the Dorćol Precinct which official refused to receive him although he arrived at the scheduled time, and because his three-day prison sentence was not substituted with a fine.

Appointment of New Members of the Belgrade Commercial Court

Procedure of election of new members of the Belgrade Commercial Court in 1873. The Assembly of the Belgrade merchants nominated new members and their substitutes. The proposal was submitted to the minister of justice and the Prince Milan Obrenović issued a decree on their appointment. Among others, Jahiel Ruso was elected a regular member of that Court.

Appointment of Guardians to a Minor Daughter of Isak Azarija

The Belgrade Town Court requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to appoint new guardians to Dona, a minor daughter of the late Jakov Azarija, since Moša Mevorah and Avram Maclijak gave up on that responsibility and her stepfather stated that she couldn‘t live anymore in his house. David Solomon and Jozef Moša Kalderon were appointed new tutors.
