Prince Milan Obrenović Pardoned Aron Alkalaj

Aron Alkalaj appealed to the Ministry of the Interior that the Palilula Precinct sentenced him too harshly. He was accused to have stolen a coat in a tavern and accordingly sentenced to 10 days of imprisonment and 4 months of police surveillance. By a decree of the Prince Milan Obrenović, Alkalaj was pardoned.

Property of Stanojev Seized For Debt Settlement to Jakov Levenzon

The Commercial Court informed the Administration of the Town of Belgrade that it approved the ban to be placed on the movable property of Stanojev, a typographer, for debt settlement to Jakov Levenzon, a merchant. The Administration was requested to seize the property from the debtor, to inventory it and hand it over to Bokor Levi for safe keeping. The seizure was not executed since Stanojev had no property at all.
