Lawsuit Filed Against Jakov Koen Over Living Out of Wedlock With Ester Afar

The Dorćol Precinct reported on Jakov Solomon Koen who lived with Ester, a daughter of Jakov Afar, out of wedlock and made her pregnant. The Administration of the Town of Belgrade escorted Koen to the Belgrade Town Court to be prosecuted.

Lazar Kalmi Sentenced For Insulting the Authorities

The Administration of the Town of Belgrade escorted Lazar Kalmi to the Belgrade Town Court for verdict reading. He was prosecuted for his public statements that he didn‘t acknowledge the Serbian Prince, only the Turkish sultan, that Serbian authorities were illegitimate ad that they treated Jews badly.

Lazar Levenzon Prosecuted For Insulting the Christian Faith

The Belgrade Town Court sentenced Lazar Levenzon to six months of imprisonment for insulting the Christian faith in a tavern. The Grand Criminal Court modified the verdict to ten days of imprisonment, but afterwards the Prince granted the amnesty to him.
