Assets of Ladislav Bergel

The Company for Management of Apartment Buildings informed the 4th District People‘s Committee that Ladislav Bergel owned a property located at 16 Vela Nigrinova until May 1941, when he fled abroad and the house was purchased by a German woman Lujza Vasić. She fled to Austria in 1944. After the liberation Bergel regained his property and then he sold it because he was moving to Israel.

Appointment of a Guardian of Ladislav Hečko

The Executive Board of the 1st District People‘s Committee of the City of Belgrade appointed Tibor Lorijan as a legal guardian of absent Ladislav Hečko, to represent him in the inheritance proceedings of the property of his parents Hugo and Zelma Hečko. Hugo Hečko was killed in the Banjica camp, and Zelma was killed in the Sajmište camp.

A threatening letter to N. Levi

N. Levi, a money dealer, reported to the Terazije Precinct that he had found in front of his store a letter in which some unknown person was asking for the money with the promise that he would return the money. But, he also was threatened that he and his children would be killed if he didn‘t lend him money or if he informed the authorities about that.

Accusations against the Company Braća Levi

The Association of Merchants of Manufactured, Textile and Fashion Products and the Chambers of Commerce communicated regarding the complaint filed by Hela Stojković against the company Braća Levi. She accused the company‘s employees of ruining the merchandise she had bought in another store, while taking her measurements for a bathing suit. The company denied it, but decided to compensate the damage in order to maintain the company‘s good reputation.

Accusations for Unauthorized Trade

A group of merchants made a complaint to the Association of Merchants of Manufactured, Textile and Fashion Products against Mika Romano, Ješa Avramović, Moša Avramović and Levi Altarac for purchasing and selling the antiques without authorisation. The accused merchants were interrogated on the premises of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
