Appointment of a Guardian of Mileta Vajs

The Executive Board of the 1st District the People‘s Committee of the City of Belgrade appointed Luka Petošević as a legal guardian of absent Mileta Vajs, who was to represent him in a legal process over the property of the late Estira Vajs, killed in December 1941. The documentation included court‘s decision on the appointment of the heir.

Aleksa Bajić Filed a Complaint Against Žak Š. Kalderon

David Konforti, a representative of the David Alfandari and Konforti Company, was interrogated in the Terazije Precinct regarding the complaint Aleksa Bajić, a rentier, had filed against Žak Š. Kalderon over illegally entering the store.

Aleksa Bajić Requested Information On His Tenant Žak Kalderon

Aleksa Bajić informed the Terazije Precinct that in 1919 he leased the store to his prewar tenant Žak Kalderon, but until that day Kalderon had not put the company name on the store, and in addition he engaged the Alkalaj brothers as partners. Bajić requested the Precinct to investigate whether Kalderon was the owner of the company and whether the Alkalaj brothers used to be his partners in the prewar period.

Adoption of Persida Koen

Mihailo Vuković requested the Adoption Department of the1st city district to allow him to adopt Persida Perla Koen, a daughter of Majer and Rahila (Živana) Koen. Persida‘s mother died in 1942 and her father was killed in 1941 in a camp. After reviewing submitted documentation and after hearing the statements of the witnesses, Mihailo Vuković and his wife Draginja were allowed to adopt minor Persida.

The Association of Merchants of Manufactured, Textile and Fashion Products sent a report to the Chambers of Commerce regarding the members of Management and Supervising Board, Wholesalers Section and Trust Section, elected on the Third Regular Assembly in February 1937. The elected members were Azriel Levi, Josif Almuli, Solomon Koen, Moša Amar, Živko Nahmijas, Ruben Rubenović.

A Debt Settlement of Leon Mošić To the Brothers Alkalaj

According to the decision brought by the Commercial Court, the property of Leon Mošić, an assistant in the store of Hajm B. Josif and Zdravko Mošić, was inventoried and evaluated, due to his debt to the brothers Alkalaj. Matilda, a wife of Mošić, gave a statement that the inventoried items belonged to her. The Administration requested that she provided a proof of ownership.

Appointment of a Guardian of Moša Đerasi, Rakila Kalderon and Debora Papo

Zelma Đerasi, a widow of Alkan Đerasi, requested the 1st District People‘s Committee of the City of Belgrade to appoint legal guardians of her husband‘s relatives Moša Đerasi, Rakila Kalderon and Debora Papo, who emigrated to Israel in 1948. The guardians were required to initiate the probate hearing of settling the estates located at 20 Gospodar Jevremova Street and at 3 Višnjićeva Street, owned by Alkan Đerasi.

Appointment of a Guardian of Ladislav Hečko

The Executive Board of the 1st District People‘s Committee of the City of Belgrade appointed Tibor Lorijan as a legal guardian of absent Ladislav Hečko, to represent him in the inheritance proceedings of the property of his parents Hugo and Zelma Hečko. Hugo Hečko was killed in the Banjica camp, and Zelma was killed in the Sajmište camp.

The Ministry of the Foreign Affairs communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade related to the information received by the Austrian-Hungarian Consulate that Azrijel Hajm from Zemun bankrupted. Consequently, the Administration was requested to provide data on the material situation and conduct of Hajim while he was living in Belgrade likewise the information on his creditors in Belgrade.
