Jakov Fuks Gave Up His Debt Request Against Mijailo Cvetković

The Terazije Precinct informed the Commercial Court that the attorney Čelebonović, a legal representative of Jakob Fuks, the commercial agent, gave up on his request a sequester to be put on the mobile property of Mijailo Cvetković.

Jurisdictions of Jewish Community

The Belgrade Town Court requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to report if the Jewish Community had legal representatives who could validly represent it. The Administration reported that Jewish Community was independent regarding its schools, churches, hospitals and social care for its poor members, but decisions beyond these were not allowed without authorities approval. Accordingly, the Court requested the Administration to forward the representatives of the Jewish Community and Čelebon Suzin who sold his house and Avram and Jakov Maulam, who bought his house.

Jakov Koen and Čelebon Suzin Filed a Lawsuit Against Kuzman Kuzmanović

The Administration of the Town of Belgrade communicated the Čačak County Court regading the lawsuit Jakov Mair Koen and Čelebon Suzin had filed against Kuzman Kuzmanović from Čačak, over debt, and the oath they had to take in the presence of a rabbi. Koen took the oath and stated that the accused owed him money, while Suzin refused to take the oath because he was not interested for the lawsuit.

Jozef Vajs From Bohemia Applied To Be Admitted To the Serbian Citizenship

The Ministry of the Interior informed the Administration of the Town of Belgrade that Josef Vajs, a tailor from Lužice in Bohemia, had requested to be issued a decision that he would be received in a Serbian citizenship as soon as he would be released from the Austrian citizenship. The Administration issued him the requested document.

Jozef Kojen Detained For Setting the Fire

The Ministry of the Interior requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to provide the documentation and report on the case of Jozef Kojen, accused for setting the fire, in order to review the complaint filed by Džoja, the widow of Azrijel Kojen, who asserted that her son Jozef was not released from prison, even though his guilt had not been proved.
