Appointment of the Heir of Jakov Čelebonović

The Executive Board of the 1st District People‘s Committee of the City of Belgrade appointed the lawyer Dragoljub Kečkić as a legal guardian of absent heirs of Dr Jakov Čelebonović. The guardian represented them in the lawsuit which the late Čelebonović initiated against the State.

Appointment of a Guardian of Sarina Musafija

The Executive Board of the 1st District People‘s Committee of the City of Belgrade appointed Samuilo Karaoglanović as a legal guardian of absent Sarina Jana Musafija. The guardian was needed in the inheritance proceedings over the property of Natalija Grinberger, who died in December 1941. The documentation included the official document on the appointment of the heir of Natalija Grinberger.

Agreement on Management of the Property of the Late Jakov Ozmo

Agreement concluded between Jahiel Ruso and Leon Koen, guardians of the property of the late Jakov Ozmo on one side, and Mordohaj Ozmo, his son and heir on the other side. The agreement defined the ways of managing Jakov Ozmo‘s property until his other two children were of legal age and determined the obligations in this matter of his adult son Mordohaj.

Avram Ozerović Filed a Lawsuit Against Josif Alkalaj

The elected court requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to dispatch to the Commercial Court a decision reached in a lawsuit case of Avram Ozerović and Josif Alkalaj. The members of the elected court were Haim Suzin, Jahiel Ruso and Jakov Levenzon.

Adanja Elijas Promised to Put in Order a Leased Tavern

Petar Popović testified on a conversation that took place in a tavern of Jahiel Ruso which was leased by Adanja Elijas. Popović claimed that Russo stated to have rented a tavern to Adanja for a six year period, that he would put the tavern in order and would make an outdoor guest area in its garden until May 1865.

Appointment of New Members of the Belgrade Commercial Court

Procedure of election of new members of the Belgrade Commercial Court in 1873. The Assembly of the Belgrade merchants nominated new members and their substitutes. The proposal was submitted to the minister of justice and the Prince Milan Obrenović issued a decree on their appointment. Among others, Jahiel Ruso was elected a regular member of that Court.

Annulment of Some Debts From the Synagogue Account

Jahiel B. Ruso, the President of the Jewish Religious School Community, requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to work out with the Ministry of Finances to annul some of the debts from the accounts of the Synagogue because those debts could not be collected from their members due either to their deaths or going to poverty. The request was approved.

Appointment of a Guardian of Jaša Albala

The Executive Board of the 1st City District People‘s Committee appointed a lawyer Sima Alkalaj as a guardian of absent Dr Jaša Albala. The guardian was needed in a legal proceedings over the property of the late Josif Joška Albala, an industrialist executed in the Banjica concentration camp in 1942. When Sima Alkalaj moved to Israel, Vojislav Lukić was appointed as the new guardian.

Austrian Consulate Requested the Serbian Authority To Locate Jelisije Kojen

The Ministry of the Foreign Affairs informed the Administration of the Town of Belgrade that the Austrian Consulate requested Jelisije Solomon Kojen, born in Pančevo, with a residence in Belgrade, to be located and ordered to return to Austro-Hungary over military obligation. The Administration failed to located Kojen in the Town. The Ministry informed the Administration that there was a mistake and the request referred to Ilija or Elijas Kojen, not Jelisije Kojen.

A group of merchants made a complaint to the Association of Merchants of Manufactured, Textile and Fashion Products against Mika Romano, Ješa Avramović, Moša Avramović and Levi Altarac for purchasing and selling the antiques without authorisation. The accused merchants were interrogated on the premises of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Appointment of Guardians to the Property of Ješua Magris

The Belgrade Town Court communicated to the Administration of the Town of Belgrade related to the request Hana, a widow of Ješua Avram Magris, had filed to the Court to appoint the guardians to her children and to review the uncleared accounts her husband had had with his partners Isak Albala and Nahman Avram. Jozef Ruso and Samuil Azrijel were appointed guardians to the property of Magris.

Adolf Hercog to Take the Oath

The Belgrade Town Court requested the Administration of the Town of Belgrade to make Adolf Hercog take the oath in front of rabbi and to swear that the accusation he had filed against Ješuja Salamon Čelebon and Mordohaj Halfon were true. The Administration reported that Hercog had moved to Wallachia.
